This book had 3 short stories that were prequels to the book Dorothy Must Die. I read it after I read the first in this series. It did give you some insight into some of the main characters, but not in any way that was a large part of the main story. A fun read if you really enjoy background information about some of the other characters. It was just okay for me, I wanted to know what was happening next. I may have enjoyed it more reading after the series is over.
